Judging others

Often when we see people we immediately have first impressions on them. Whether good or bad we often remember them by how we immediately see them. We may not realize it but we are judging them. We judge people by how they act, look, talk, where they’re from, their height, and more. We constantly judge others because they’re different from us. But different isn’t always bad. We are all made unique. In God’s eyes we are all perfect. So instead of judging people from the outside we should see how they are on the inside and get to know them first.

Judging- forming an opinion or conclusion about.

” For the lord sees not as man sees: man looks on the outward appearance, but the Lord looks on the heart.”

– 1 Samuel 16:7

“Do not judge by appearances, but judge with right judgement.”

– John 7:24

“Do not judge, or you too will be judged. For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the same measure you use, it will be measured to you.”

– Matthew 7:1-2
